Foxy! and...Shopping for Guys

Mandy's been after me lately for gift ideas for guys. She says I'm hard to shop for. I say "all I want for Christmas is you" (in a Matt Costa melody).

Her take is that if one of us guys want something, we just go buy if for ourselves. And if we haven't yet bought it, we're researching it and carefully selecting the specific item we want with certain features, and our female better halves would have a devil of a time selecting the exact item we want anyways.

Fortunately for Mandy, this shopping season has coincided with one of my favorite trends...fox! Or is it foxes? Pinterest has unleashed the fabulous fox fenomenon (I know it's phenomenon, but I like a little alliteration).

Here are a few things on my FOX SHOPPING LIST, courtesy of Pinterest.

Mandy says a guy could never pull this look off, but I know better.

I NEED this top!

Or actually, maybe Mandy needs THIS top...I think it's actually at the top of my list.

Is your guy hard to shop for? Don't you know you just need to buy him lingerie?

  1. Husband Christmas wish list: Deep Socket Set, Inter tube Wallet
What he is getting: Deep Socket Set, Intertube Wallet and a video game that he has been eying for a while (one that I might actually play with him because it doesn't have fighting)

  2. My husband & Dad are the hardest to buy for. The hubs wants really big, expensive things or either parts for his turbine doohickey he's building & I have no idea what language he's speaking when he describes what he needs, and my Dad doesn't want me spending money. Sooo, yeah, at least my youngest brother makes a list, I like him the best. :-)

  3. Ha! Lingirie is all well and good, except its not something he'll be opening Christmas morning in front of the kids! What are we supposed to put under the tree?

  5. Once they become teens the males in our life are hard to buy for, I think the hubs is easier than my teen boys unless of course I actually bought them the $4000 computer they asked for (no chance!)

  6. My cowboy husband is simple to buy for... he wants a new rifle, or a new scope, or both. And shells... for any of the 9 guns he owns.

Oh the joys of being married to a Texan ;)

  7. My husband and I both enjoy woodworking. So I buy him new tools that I will end up using. It makes us both happy!
