Working Out: Random Web Feature

I've been reading some of Tim Ferris's book The Four Hour Body. I used his tips for how to avoid gaining weight when bingeing (like at Thanksgiving) and have started his Slow Carb Diet. Anyone else ever try it? I'm giving his workouts a test (kettlebell, anyone?) and am taking a break from 30-Day Shred. I feel manlier already.

I was telling Mandy's mom about the ab workout in the book called "Cat Vomit" when her mom said, "I know that exercise!" and pulled out her exercise VHS tapes called "Body Flex."

She owned the three video set of "alternative" exercises designed to tone and defy aging. I've included a sample below in case any of you are looking for some new routines.

Yes, its for real. You too can look like the instructor below by following three easy steps:

  1. Do the Body Flex workout once daily.
  2. Buy a salmon leotard.
  3. Put gel in your hair, get in a full bathtub, turn on your blow drier, and drop it in the tub.
Results guaranteed.

  1. I totally did bodyflex as a kid, i can still do an awesome lionface, or cat vomit. Might have demonstrated it at a party, there might be a video somewhere on the internet that proves it.

  5. Ha!! My mom used to do this exercise when I was growing up! I used to be awakened to the sound of my mom sounding like she was trying to hack up a hairball.
