A Tauntaun Miracle

It's a miracle. One of the rarest of reptiles, a Tauntaun, has been seen in Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting. Rumor has it that the spoonful of frosting below has been flash frozen for posterity's sake.

Note the uncanny resemblance of the frosting Tauntaun to the real one below.

Once I started looking into Tauntaun lore, I found that they have permeated every facet of our society.

There's the Tauntaun sleeping bag, for those nights that you want to reenact Luke's lukewarm night spent in the belly of his deceased, trusty steed. Note the intestinal lining and the lightsaber zipper-pull.

For those wanting to get into the holiday spirit early, there's Rudolph the Red-Nosed Tauntaun. A true Christmas miracle.

Why all this talk of Tauntauns? Several weeks ago during a Man Up Link Up event, I featured Suzy's Vanilla Bean Shortbread recipe, which miraculously revealed the hidden head of Falkor, the flying dog from The Neverending Story (see picture below). Suzy was kind enough to send me the Tauntaun frosting picture above. Thanks Suzy!

Note the uncanny resemblance between the two pictures.

  1. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy". Its not just beasts of a mythical nature that have been spotted recently, at my sisters wedding rehearsal last Friday the best man was wearing a rather jaunty bow tie and bore and uncanny resemblance to an infamous Doctor. "I like bow ties, bow ties are cool."

  2. by the way, my husband wanted to do a humorous speak at toastmasters tomorrow. He asks me for ideas. So he's doing it on being the husband of a photographer. I hope to share it on my blog soon.
