Funnier than Real Life

I'm an engineer and work with a bunch of other engineers. You'd be surprised that there are several engineers that read my blog and bring it up fairly often. Most of them have crafty significant others and can relate with my experiences.

The other day I was at work talking with one of these gentlemen, an engineer-type, an architect actually. He's also one of the nicest and most sincere guys that I know. So I nearly fell over laughing when he complemented me on my recent blogging:

Thanks, Mike. That's what friends are for. In addition to being an astute commentator on humor, he's also a great dresser.

    Confused Fry meme: not sure if that's complimentary or insulting....

    Lol. I'm also an engineer AND a craft blogger. On my upcoming craft to do list I plan to be re-decorating my cubicle. As the only female technical staff in the office I can get away with being 'girly' (I mean, it drives me crazy that my coil-bound electrical code book doesn't stand nicely on my shelf - to the rescue: cutesy magazine holders!)
